good movie thanks for posting
Linda Brent was the manicurist,
Ruth Terry steals the show. There's some humor here, interesting characters, but the whole "lie to protect people" angle sinks it in my book.
They don't make movies like this anymore.
what…? how is it right that he ends up with a girl more than half his age??!!! Talk about your male fantasy endings!
This was a really good movie… Thank you for the joy it has given me!
What a great Movie! I was looking for it. I was 12 the first time I saw.
My sentiments exactly.
un bon film ,la 1 ére que je vois merci
femists way in 1942 first two minutes of them. I am out.
Nice film, does anyone know the name of the actress who played the Manicurist, she is so very pretty, thanks for sharing
Moves real fast, stay smart, has good scenes, funny, snappy, and nice touches. Nice direction.
Note the bars in front of the worried characters in the garden shed….
anyone who can upload Santiago 1956, starring Alan Ladd?
Good movie. Thank you.
Good, clean and very entertaining movies. No need for dirt in movies.
To "Epic2" The O'Keefe character was probably in his early 20s . You just assumed he was older because of the way he was dressed. Back then even teen-aged boys sometimes wore suits. Kids as a whole were more mature. Thinking you're a smarty does not make you one. Mac
Enjoyed this a lot. I`m sure I was born out of my era, lol.
loved it!
good movie but i can't figure out what age to give lana forbes – the kid girl,- not the actor's real age of course but the character – she would be around 12 or 13 in our day and in those innocent times maybe max 15 – and what about the ending…
Any television presentation with the title of Unforgotten Crime is to be avoided at all costs. The first two reels have been dropped completely and the story no longer makes any sense. Original version is called Affairs of Jimmy Valentine.
This film is apparently of a badly cut longer film (72 minutes); the longer film is under the tile of "Affairs of Jimmy Valentine."
Conversations that you never hear anymore:
"Thanks doc, how much do I owe you?"
"Ah, forget it! "
I downloaded this
What a sweet film.
A really good war era film and not your standard B movie. An amazing underlying story about a neat sleepy little town filled with great leading citizens who are actually reformed criminals. Good script, direction… and even better acting. Ruth Terry shines in a performance very reminiscent of Judy Garland, filled with a brilliant and energetic portrayal of youthful womanhood and the girl next door. i bet she really appealed to young soldiers and servicemen in a way more profound than many of the more glamorous, distant and older pin-up girls! I would really like to see the original 72 minute version of the film but sure am glad to see this sorely abridged version of 53 minutes. thanks so much for posting this
Things an't what they use to be…
She's too young for him…liked it anyway.(ls)
