Engaging actors. Very entertaining. Tight, plausible, story.
The male lead sounds like he wants to sound like Gary Cooper.
Marjorie Reynolds was a doll in her day, a real doll….
The male lead was a monotone hack. Everyone else was pretty good. Very good story.Worth the time.
John King had no ass.

John King was also one of the "Range Busters" in the Republic Pictures series. He played "Dusty"
There was just a little cheese in this movie. But a little cheese is better than no cheese when you are hard up for a film noir movie. We enjoyed it. Thank you, The Video Cellar.
Good detective story with actors I've heard of but did Not see in movies! Nice to know Mr. King had another occupation besides acting! Having a waffle restaurant in LaJolla,Calif.-A Beautiful Area!! ThanksThe Video Cellar4 showing it!!
Good movie! Marjorie Reynolds is handsome, at the finest age of 23.

"Cain" would have been much more appropriate name than Abel.
Baggage smashers, eh?
That movie was so bad I cried half way thru it
The ticket taker at the train sounds like John? Carridine
Majorie Reynolds must feel so fucking beautiful wearing that poor dead Animal around her neck .I wonder how fucking bitches like her would feel if the same happened to them what happened to those Animals.
