  1. I love it when that beautiful blonde's head first goes under water and seeing her beautiful blonde hair all wet and messed up and hearing her scream and saying, I can't swim. I just love watching all that beautiful blonde hair of her's go under and getting wet.

  2. what, another "columbo" tv series like movie where the spoiler is right at the beginning?  i hope the guy with the ugly mug peeping through the window is not the perp.  i mean what is a good movie without a mystery whodunnit.  well i'll keep watching but as soon as the stereotypical looking "badguy" does the evil deed, screw it.  off to another video

  3. If you see a movie has George Zucco and/or Lionel Atwill, you know it's going to be good (like "The Black Raven").  This is a great film.  Great cinematography, great acting, especially by Zucco, great script.  What more could you ask for 68 minutes?

  4. Still another movie left unseen. However, Zucco and Atwill are always a good team. Cowan, if given half a chance is also good. DeWitt is like but not as fine as Gale Sondergaard. The others wooden soldiers. Loved the drowning routine. Back to sleep now.

  5. There has never been nor ever be better mysterys
    than these old B/w movies
The filming the angles the close ups the fog
    Everything should be
Along with these dramatic acting professionals
Must be destroyed ASAP by the new leftist establishment!

  6. The sound was distorted on my computer. I would have enjoyed it more if I understood what they were saying during most of the movie! Plot was enjoyable!

  7. Nice big creepy house murder mystery with lots of sneaking, peeking, and people doing each other in. After seeing Veda Ann Borg as a hotshot taxi-driver cutie in another flick, I couldn't take her seriously as a nasty woman in this one. But she's a LOT more sexy in this picture. Enjoyed her acting. The rest were up to par. EAR PHONES are a necessity for this, and others, the sound of which is NOT high-fidelity. Thanks, again, PizzaFlix!

  8. Poor George was plagued by Alzheimers later in life, back then it was
called dementia. He always played his villainous roles to perfection.
