Smooth killer, Carradine. And a good meanie. Could go the other way as well, witness the great Grapes of Wrath.
And Naish played quite an idiot as the leader of the gestapo. Who in the word is Maris Wrixon? Not much of an actress.
All in all, a piece of not much at all.
Carradine made every film he was in , just that much better… this role is a parallel to his role in MANHUNT (1941 Fritz Lang)—he could have rubber stamped that role to this.
John, the MOST interesting of Carradine's.
Many thanks for sharing this gem.
I would like to have a dollar for every film John Carradine played in. He has to be in more films than any other Hollywood actor.
