I use to visit Little Rock and hot Springs back in the early 70's….not much has changed.

most intelligent political statement against global warming I have ever heard?
Bruce Bennett – looking at him looking familiar and that voice – "Brother, this means all out funerals." from THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE.
I've lived in Arkansas most all my 51 years. It is one of the most beautiful places. I'm very grateful for the history of my state. Not perfect but always improving.
I live in Arkansas. This is hilarious.
This is one movie that Iris Adrian really starred in and is never listed in the movies she "appeared" in. "Pa" from the movie Tobacco Road.
Cute clean movie. Bruce Bennett who played Bob was a silver medalist in the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam and once was chosen to play tarzan but never did. His real name was Herman Brix. But did live to be 100 yrs old dying in 2007. And Slim Summerville was in a shirley temple movie "Captain January." And John Hamilton "Perry White" of Original Superman tv show early 1950's. Mary Ford one of the sunshine girls and married to Les Paul…..And I had the fortune of having Jimmy Wakely as a patient of mine (when I was a nurses's aide) in Encino Hospital in early 1980's ..as he died in 1982. Again the movie is silly and corny but cute. Makes me feel old too. Which I am:)
what a beautiful movie with esmeralda ,the hit of the season>
I live in Arkansas also…lol
I really wonder if the hog calling they were doing has anything to do with the origin of the University of Arkansas's famous "woo pig sooie" chant.
The hillbilly's in thar hills! Hollywood hills that is.Good god Iris Adrian playing the lead, she was better as sarcastic best friends ,Bruce Bennett good leading man ,Funny E.l b Swedish comedy actor succeeded in the talkies.I don't think he was in silents,The Irony is tha another Swedish import to Hollywood ,Karl Dane,Oops Denmark,It wasn't his accent ,but, just plain bad luck that his career failed.oops wrong again! E.L Brendel was born in Pennsylvania,His Swedish accent is a put on after the sinking of the Lusitania .He was half German ,so he develop a Swedish accent because of anti German sentiment
Enjoyed It .Superman's boss was in it.the 1950's superman that is

My grandpa was from Arkansas. But he was an honest farmer in Oklahoma. Those few corrupt ones didn't like him.
I miss barn dances…..
I sure wish I could have spent some time practicing yodeling skills with Abby.
A nice diversion from all the serious drama! The pig call was pretty pathetic, sickening but funny! No way those people were that lazy, a lot of hard work & chores taking care of their land!
7/28/16: WOW! Really enjoyed this– anymore movies like this. I wish they would put the Pa & Ma Kettle movies back on UTUBE.
