Angel’s Flight (1965) Full Movie

Angel’s Flight, the complete film starring Indus Arthur as a stripper who kills men she picks up in Bunker Hill. Angel’s Flight is not only a great post-noir crime film but also offers valuable footage of historic Bunker Hill before it was razed (it can also be seen in Kiss Me Deadly and The Glass Cage).

  1. Thank you for posting this! I remember watching this on KCET (a Los Angeles based public television station) back in 1996 with my mom. Growing up in in Burbank this was a neat bit of history to see on film of my almost hometown. Plus the film noir theme was great!

  2. A great post, thank you. Wonderfully moody noir, fine performances (particularly liked lead actor's delicate morning-after walk to corner bar), geographically interesting too. Very good intelligent script, shows what can be achieved with little money but a lot of heart. One point though: will leave you feeling a tad melancholy.

  3. Area's been used in a number of strange films. Two that come to mind are the 1951 remake of "M" starring David Wayne. And who could forget Lon Chaney Jr. tossing a victim down the steps next to Angel's Flight as the monster in "The Indestructible Man" (1956).
