Till The Clouds Roll By is a 1946 Technicolor #American Musical film made by MGM. The film is a fictionalised biography of composer Jerome Kern, portrayed by Robert Walker.
Kern was originally involved with the production of the film, but died before it was completed. Till the Clouds Roll By has a large cast of well-known musical stars of the day who appear performing Kern’s songs. It was the first in a series of MGM biopics about Broadway’s composers.
Biography of songwriter, Broadway pioneer, Jerome Kern. Unable to find immediate success in the USA, Kern sought recognition abroad. He journeyed to England where his dreams of success became real and where he met his future wife Eva.
