  1. Check with YouTube. Your comments section is not operating properly. YouTube won't allow me to scroll down so I can not read the comments.

  2. 100:00 It's sure great they can take being drafted into World War II so lightly. Have fun at Guadalcanal. Oh yeah, and buy war bonds!

  3. Jimmy Chan and Hop Sing, both same actor. I'm blown far far far far away. Like Bill Maher said, nature gives everyone the finest, most magical beauty treatment they will ever have, without even letting them know it: YOUTH. How on earth Bill Maher would know that shows he can at least be credited with looking at other people, not in mirrors. :o) He does make a lot of cracks about being good-looking, I can't understand where he gets that notion. He says he's one of just a handful of famous men who really do look better with less hair. Wrong on both counts. He looked better with hair and a younger face, looks worse with less hair and a saggy face esp. with all the beauty treatments he's sure to be using as fast as he can buy them through his beauty counselor, lol, is that what homely rich people use to keep up with their peers? He's constantly opening up opportunities for his guests to tell him how much younger he looks than the now 60-something he has become. Crickets. The longed-for reply never comes. I guess I just don't like him, so I notice this stuff, sensing its importance to himself whom he calls Hollywood Elite, and about which he refers to Oscar Night as "Be nice! It's only once a year. Its our prom." Who could like a guy like that? This is how far away Jimmy Chan and Tommy Chan being Hop Sing blew me! From a cult great to a little balding atheist who continually begs us to think of him as IRISH and whose head feels like a cold gray stone when he lays it on the pillow at night. Better nights are coming, Bill-O. For us all.

He says he hates comments sections on the internet. The very same thing Bill O'Reilly was always railing about. That US GUYS shouldn't be allowed to do this, and we shouldn't do it even though we can.

  4. 44:12 2nd CC movie I've watched in three days with broken pin embedded in someone's shoe and scratching floor! I just went back to jog my memory but can't put my finger on the other movie's title. In any event we have a recycled plot device here. In the other film the scratches were found under a dining table.

  5. Once again, an American movie audience is transported to an exotic and exciting locale frequented by the rich and famous! All for the low price of a 25c ticket, and made possible by some stock film footage, clever set decoration, costumes from Wardrobe, and perhaps a few characters supplied by Central Casting! Ah…Hollywood's Golden Age!

  6. Jimmy looks so stupid in the beginning of this movie. He’s trying to be cool, but he is falling short.
Jimmy just really gets on my nerves. I just love to hate him. It amazes me how much he honestly believes that he is a big help to his father. That Charlie wouldn’t know what to do without him…

  7. Satan ( Donald Trump) says "To the Republicans and Evangelicals, All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me." Jesus replies "Get away, Satan! It is written: 'You shall worship the Lord your God and only Him shall you serve.'

  8. I have been a fan of the 1930-50's mystery movies for most of my long adult life. Sherlock Holmes, Charlie Chan, Hercule Poirot, The Saint, The Thin Man, The Falcon, and Boston Blackie, are the ones that I like the best, but there many others that I have enjoyed as well. I also enjoy the serial type movies of the same era, such as Flash Gordon, Ace Drummond, Sky King, Mystery Squadron, The Perils of Pauline and alot more.

  9. Love Charlie Chan films. Interesting to note that the 1936 Olympic Games episode (copyright 1937) does not show Nazi German interaction. German police appear to be part of Old Germany of the Kaiser. The name Jesse (referring to Jesse Owens) is shouted during the marathon clip. As usual evil women have fox furs, jewelry and smoke cigarettes, however, US team wears what appears to be navy blue blazers with underneath sweater with Team USA logo. And of course, in the end, son of Chan wins Olympic swimming medal. Yes. The investigative world of Charlie Chan was always solved with Asian logic and wise sayings. There may be murders, yet violence is not highlighted.
