  1. Agnes was a mousey obsessed scaredy cat. I had a hard time watching the movie because she was such a weakling. But if that was the part, she played it well!

  2. she is so hounded by that irritating self absorbed man. It's so difficult to watch. Then there's other hungry men. Any wonder she seems almost anti men, alone by choice.

  3. Malka Ringel put these old movies in a folder & made it available for others to enjoy!!! "Turn the key softly" is one of my personal favorites! Many lessons to be learned in this film.

  4. If he'd grabbed hold of me like that at 59:16 he wouldn't be walking for a week. I just LOVE Ida Lupino – she's beautiful and such a terrific actress. But the storyline itself is useless.

  5. A lousy movie with a pointless last 20 second shadow scene. If you haven't started watching it yet, don't start.

  6. Very exciting thriller, thanks for the upload I enjoyed this movie will watch it few times,Ida Lupino is a beautiful actress very talented lady ahead of her time.🇺🇸👍💕

  7. Ida Lu was a great, and I used to love those "noiresque" East Bay kinda guy Oakland Tribune radio ads that Duff did in the late 1980's
