Tyrone's best film.
The horseback chases are fantastic and some of the best on film.
Terrific cast but not a successful film.
Man, I was not ready to be so entertained by this old movie. I'm glad i watched this one. Ty and Fonda made this movie amazing with their performances.
Classic Movie
Tyrone Power ! Inimitable actor & Marine pilot flying out of the hottest airfields in the Pacific Theater : Kwajalein, Iwo Jima & Okinawa. Some of the best box office numbers in cinema history belong to Tyrone Power.
My uncle Bill Kelly served in the Marine Corps, with Ty Power. They were the best of friends.
Nancy Kelly was so beautiful. Her smile, made Church Bells Ring. Her brother Jack Kelly,. Was a Warner Brothers Star…..
Good movie. I enjoyed it. Henry Fonda was a good choice to play Frank James.
17:13…There was a bar in KCMO called the 'Dixie Belle'. It probably wasn't the 'type' of bar Jesse James would have frequented, but..let's just say..someone with the looks of Tyrone Power would have been VERY popular there!
21:13,robert carradine used this same line in The Long Riders 1980.
37:39,every time I see this part,i always wonder is that a 1938 car down there parked by the right side of the road?
henry fonda made a beautiful frank james.
One of my favorite films, .All my life.Superb casting, and directing….!!!
Got an extra pregnant on this movie..He didn't know till years later..she had given it up for adoption..he spent thousands trying to find out to who it went but the laws didn't allow…never found out…My question is..which woman was it..she's an extra in this movie…they got his death fairly accurate..except instead of a big reward from the law and immunity, Ford got charged with all his past crimes and no reward, but was exonerated at the trial..The Mueller's of that day had a lil more honesty and integrity to their promises.
The eyes, the smile! Oh, and the acting. TP was the man.
Love me some Tyrone Power!
The Wizard (JOHN CARRADINE) kills Zorro (TYRONE POWER) at 1:43:36–1:43:45!
