FOOLISHNESS…VANITY..
Thanking so much for posting it! I am looking since years to find it. I saw this film as young girl.
The little orphan girl, Jean, was actually 20 years old in 1949. And Stewart was 35.

50:28 “Here’s to a Gay Evening”……..”Absolutely”…….”Definitely” 🤠
I very much enjoy these old films , They amuse me and I find them comforting .
The young girl looks like Raven Symone.
Jean always my favourite from when I was a child sincere pure innocent beautiful voice my no1
Fabulous film. Lots of chemistry between those two!
NO ,John the Baptist was NOT an orphan ! His parents were Zechariah & Elizabeth …
Footsteps in the Fog, also with Jean Simmons and Stewart Granger, is one of my favorites. Thank you for this!
A lot of people love a tattle-tale. Not I!
Larry what happened to the Pollock movie? I do not remember the title. can you tell me the title?
Adaptação de "Dad long legs"(31)? resultou num filme bem chatinho. A outra versão de Dad long legs "( 55) c/ Astaire e Caron, é bem melhor." Vale a pena ver a excelente Jean Simmons junto do então futuro marido, o charmoso stewart Granger que morou no Brasil.
Love this movie. Such fun. I'm looking for the Guns of Navarone'. Can't find it. Does anyone know if it's downloaded?
What a wonderful old movie, these are the days when acting was truely acting, not the rubbish that is presented today. Movies that had heart and soul not greed and lust or violence and degrading filth. No wonder there is no is kindness , warmth and genuine neighbourly love and commitment in the world today when we all are submitted to is the trash served up today as entertainment. Thank you for putting up something worth watching and giving us a pleasant evenings entertainment.
It was a good movie. Thank You.
Great!!!
I have been looking for this movie forever!!!!! They took it off of Prime just before I had a chance to watch it and I couldn't find it anywhere, so thank you, thank you, thank you for this!!!
Charming 🌷
Thank you very much😊
Thank you for this pleasant upload. Jean Simmons was really very beautiful, a good actress and a real darling! Stewart Granger's acting wasn't superlative, but was decent. Perhaps his best performance turned ip in that masterpiece by the great Fritz Lang: MOONFLEET! Lang was a great master in many respects, in particular in what concerned directing actors… Pity that the Anglo-Saxon public seems to have been deprived of the said masterpiece… In this respect the French critic has been far more intelligent than the Anglo-Saxon one. Back to the present film: it's a pleasant one and we are grateful for your effort to make it possible for us to enjoy it.
So that is what Jean Simmons looks like
sans makeup.
