Classic movie HOUSE OF SECRETS (1936) by Roland D. On reaching there Barry finds out that he has inherited a house that belonged to his forefathers, to see how it looks like he goes there one night but finds out that it has been occupied by an old man and his daughter, the same girl he met on ship. The mystery evokes when he comes to know that suspicious people are after the house and strange things are happening.

My god what a horrible and preposterous movie from beginning to end. An unknown completely broke american shows up WITHOUT any documents from the lawyer to claim a mansion, at NIGHT no less and continues to run around without papers or his proof and supposedly in love with a woman whose father is stealing his house and waving a gun at him and holding an old man captive as far as he knows…yes true love that is. And then the end story to make everyone just an honest in the end is so absurd and rediculous I couldn't believe anyone even in THAT time had THE NERVE to propose that as acceptible for kidnapping and touture, fraud and a million lies… disgusting male and female weakness as well…beyond the usual weakness of the time period if you ask me…I love old movies, but this one truly mad me sad AND angry…
