  1. Only Elizabeth Scott could drive 85 mph and not have one blond hair out of place. Loved it. Also has more twists than a cat on a hot tin roof. Smile. Love film noir nothing compares to films today nothing.

  2. Because I liked Lizabeth Scott I watched her movies. I have seen this movie five times and always come up disappointed in her acting. This should have been an excellent film noir. The plot was good but the direction by Byron Haskin was a disaster. He was out to lunch on this movie. Lizabeth needed much guidance in scenes. Yet surprisingly this is considered one of her best movies. I certainly don't think so. The ending is totally unreal.

  3. You know what is unique about this old movie? Almost no scenes have anybody smoking in it. Most old movies look like a tobacco advertisement.
