The Very Edge- Full- Happy Birthday Jeremy Brettβ™₯

Jeremy would have been 79 today. Looking back on his career, we see this wonderful, brilliant man and actor began with such films as the 1962 The Very Edge. He was only 29 when he starred as the obsessed Mullen, yet he looked so much younger! He seemed to retain that perpetual youth and beauty throughout his life. Happy Birthday dearest Jeremy! Your twinkle is still seen and felt by thousands!

  2. thank you so much for sharing, I got addicted, just keep watching it over and over πŸ™‚ what a classic with zero production costs – just good scenario, super classy sex appeal and excellent music to create tension. All the ingredients lacking in today's mega-budget flicks.

  3. Of course, everyone knows the solution to this film. Get a dog.πŸ• Or even better, a trained skunk! 🦑
But then the film would end in 10 minutes and wouldn't get to see Jeremy Brett in all his glory. Thanks again for sharing this great movie with us. LLπŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  4. I find it amazing that what a person is inside comes through in the end. For example, Jeremy Brett. In those days Richard Todd was a huge star, married Elizabeth Taylor but there are tons of Jeremy Brett sites and channels all these years after he died and fewer people even know who Todd is. I remember the day Jeremy died and I felt the loss keenly, yet almost nobody outside of England had much of an idea who he was. I've watched the discovery and admiration and even love for him grow AFTER he had died. Keep that in mind for yourselves. You might think you aren't having much of an impact on those around you but you are constantly planting seeds everywhere (for good or bad) and they WILL grow in time.
Thank you for finding and sharing this film with us. It was a treat that I didn't even know existed. Love LL πŸ˜”

  8. I was an extra in The Very Edge in 1963, only getting to enjoy the film now after all these years so I’m thrilled! I’m in the scene at the elephant enclosure in Dublin Zoo – but if you blink you’ll miss me 😁

  9. I hate to see that horribly cruel instrument that evil male was using on the elephant! I sincerely hope that all who have ever done & continue to do that & other cruel actions toward elephants & all other creatures created by the Lord God Almighty pay heavily for their willing acts of cruelty!

  11. I didn't care for the ending, she just went right into her husband's arms after what he did? I was hoping that she would've gone into the detective ' s arms instead
