Thank you
A delightful movie to watch with friends. Beautiful imagery, beautiful music, the whole movie is well done, well-executed.
It is quite obvious that this movie has its prejudices towards we Spaniards by stretching the "Leyenda Negra" Black Legend, needless to say, U.S. history is plagued with more hideous and heinous acts of cruelties, mass murders (as the one committed by then-president Andrew Jackson's Indian Removal Act "Trail of Tears" which was over 5,043 miles and over nine states committed toward the Neyihawa or Cree nation and by the 7th Cavalry at Wounded Knee in 1890 towards Sioux) and who can forget the "Black Hills Treaty" South Dakota broken by the U.S. government in favour towards gold mining prospectors who had already violated the treated. Instead, the U.S. government had the 7th Cavalry remove the Sioux from their sacred and ancestral lands and mountain to which they have desecrated by the Roosevelt administration's sculpturing of U.S. President faces on Mount Rushmore. By the way, since when did Native Americans of the west wore a bone on their noses and supposedly spoke perfect English?
Excellent movie! Based on the true story of the Portola Expedition of 1769. Captain Portola and his men discovered San Francisco Bay in November of that year. Such a great adventure story. Excellent, clear and beautiful upload. Well done and thank you for posting!
