  24. Must be 40 years since I last saw that film. Congratulations on the colour upgrade, just right, not overdone. But on my laptop the sound could still have been a little clearer.
    An excellent film of its time…and still good!!

  25. In regards to the now in color aspect; the primary color is a purple, lavender ish, not really a vibrant living color film. Nonetheless this 1945 classic, makes any pig swill produced in that festering shit hole, aka hollywood in this modern day and age look like the crap they're now known for…
    Take note you demented, debased craven, twisted weirdos, aka modern hollywood producers, you reside in the shadows of such great works, such as Captain Kidd, (1945)

  26. Laughton was not your normal actor. Where other actors, even the great ones, work to CREATE a character, he seemed like he had to work to control a massive reserve of acting talent seeking to explode.
