Dance is only a lost art until someone does it.
No wonder Artie Shaw had 8 wives – he is very unlikeable… whatever did Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, and the rest see in him ?
I love these old black & white BIG BAND Movies.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful movie 🎥❤

We know it's HOLLYWOOD CLASSICS do you have to ruin the movie leaving the writing on all through the movie? 👎
Such talent 👏👏👏🕺
If they could just have these kind of shows with talent like Fred Astaire at the Super Bowl instead of the pure satanic filth now offered.

Beautiful b&w. Nicely restored & not colourised. Thank you.
What type of idiot puts "Hollywood Classics" across the screen for the entire movie? Talk about advertising doing the opposite of helping your brand.
Fred Astaire’s the only guy I watch more than his partner.
“It’s a nice life: cultural, relaxing, gay . . .”
Interesting choice of words for two men sharing a room.
I had forgotten how beautiful Paulette Goddard was. I haven't seen her in many movies.
PLEASE STOP WITH T HE SPANISH ADS @YOUTUBE THS IS AMERICA!!!
Fred Astaire; never let grass grow under his feet. Tap dancing, lost art. 🎵🎶🎺🎹🎼
that has been lost a.
Fred tried for undiluted comedy plus music by Artie Shaw, the hottest bandleader of the late 1930s. Only one dance, but another was cut and can be seen on YT: 'Me and the Ghost Upstairs'. Fred said in his memoirs that it added nothing to the film, but it's great fun and unique, b/c for once his partner is the indispensable Hermes Pan, in high heels and under a sheet as the ghost.
fred astaire smooth as silk still love his moves now aged
It can burn any candles with that Energy.
