23:25….that's a tree stump. Wood carvings, not stone.
Much enjoyed the stylings of Joseph Calleia, a fine character actor equally at home playing the good guy or bad guy.
This made me want to see more of joe McCree movies
It's good to be surrounded by salt of the earth people that help bring out the good also in him. He would have had a different life if the man in black wasn't of good character. Tender-hearted family western.
Posses always leave without water, bedroll and food. They will be back before dark.
Zero gunplay, not one shot fired. You don’t see that every day. 10/10.
"CANON" is the deputy…
CALLEIA WAS THE POLICEMAN IN THE MOVIE – ALGIERS – HUNTING PEPE LOMOCO THROUGH THE CASBAH…A SUBDUED ACTING STYLE….
it's a slow movie but quite entertaining…a train pursuit movie…the mountain was called TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCE…
and i think that BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK, was filmed out this way; and around Gallup – the movie – THE BIG CARNIVAL or ACE IN THE HOLE, with KIRK DOUGLAS – Mountain of the 7 Vultures…maybe it was there near the highway and rail track….
the banker looks like the Uncle Morty in Seinfeld….who gave Jerry his watch…but, i could be wrong….
"He's had too much train, I guess?"
THE MOUNTAIN OF EL MORRO; I JOURNEYED TO NEW MEXICO AND I ALSO LOCATED THIS MOUNTAIN WHICH IS A NATIONAL PARK…READING THE INSCRIPTIONS ON THE ROCK… IT WAS A SPOOKY PLACE…BUT I REMEMBERED THE MOVIE…AND 2 BIKERS WHO WERE WALKING IN THE AREA ALSO KNEW THIS MOVIE…
Love Joel McCrea very under-estimated but a fine actor
The heat that is generated from the chemistry between Joel McCrea and Frances Dee burns up the screen!
Wonderful to watch.
Wow I like this movie. I saw since 1948 , action was very dhashing, but romantic seen very less
Sure do like that chestnut he makes his get away on, a real nice horse! The way Joel wrangles that remount is just right. He sure was one Top Hand with a rope and in the saddle and one of the Great actors. Great movie thanks for uploading it.
Good film. Thanks for this.
I just commissioned an artist to do a painting of Frances Dee. I shit you not.
A western that exhibited unusual human warmth despite it being a "chase film" for a good deal of its running time.
Real beautiful movie…The Mexican gentleman was very honorable and so was Garrett….Just so much to like about this movie. I would place it up there with one of the best movies I have ever seen.
A great film. Watching and enjoying from European Union, Lithuania.
I really enjoy watching Joel McCrea movies… This was a good one.
Another wonderful Joel McCrea film. He is one of the best actors ever!
OMG pretty good movie.
They galloping 3 states without getting tired the horses amazing…
It is a great classic western.
Great film with real husband and wife playing leads , and look out for a sheriff played by cannon tv series star William Conrad .
