  2. The female lead Beverly Michaels was married to Russel Rouse who was the producer and director of this film "Wicked Woman" , they stood married until his death in 1987 , 20 years later she would pass away due to a stroke ,she was 79 … by the way this film was written by Lily Tomlin , yep that Lily Tomlin that was a top performer for the television comedy show … "Laugh-In" πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

  4. I enjoyed this film, and feel a little bit bad about that:) I've seen a lot worse "A" films. The smile on her face at the end when she is on the bus with a new man is priceless…"oh yes, this is what I'm really good at"…

  5. As you watch this, and, ah, 'drink' in the shots and lines given to star Bev, keep in mind that it was (co) written and directed by her to be soon hubby: e.g. shots wise, see not only how she is introduced to magnificently played elder 'creep' Charlie – (the long leer as she slowly ascends the stairs, then in person by barefooted legs up when she very first invites him into her room) – but even the finale stick out leg / toes / foot shot for the bus guy to again leer upon, surely shows how / why Rouse was besotted by her. Plus, with some very sharp proto-feminism lines ("to women") & circumstances – (the repulsive hit-upons she has to deal with as waitress) – now post Weinstein revelations, it could be easily speculated that R. as her future husband was showing fully clearly why she soon gave it all up to be his Missus. Absolutely fab sizzler!

  6. I can't believe the drunk Dora would be married to the hunky bartender in the first place. Plys he forked out all his money to save the bar. Oh well, good movie
