Kings of Horror presents: The Screaming Skull
Newlyweds Jenni (Peggy Webber) and Eric (John Hudson) move into Eric’s palatial country home. 1:02:49 best scene of the movie😂
Hilarious !!!!
As I've watched so many old movies, I'm beginning to believe that women were hysterical scaredy-cats 🙀 and childlike 👧🏼 in western capitalistic 🍔 societies. On the other hand ⚖️, women were probably portrayed as caricatures of themselves 🐇.
"…and then a loin jumped out and shot her!"
Really enjoyed the ending! Had a bit of a surprise twist to it, which I didn't expect from 1958 writing. It was released the month I turned 6 years old. Thanks for posting! 👏😊👍
9:55 kills me every time she says, “Be caREFUL!!”
And the delicious thrill of wondering if we would make it to the end of the movie!!😁😀
I remember seeing this in the movie theater, probably 12 or 13!!
Beautifully photographed (most of it) by Floyd Crosby. Odd that no one mentions the complete lack of furniture, decorations or anything in the house. Did I miss it, or is there a line in there somewhere where a character mentions something along the lines of "they'll be delivering the furniture soon" or SOMEthing to explain this weird thing about living in an empty house? (I believe "Mickey" is the director, Alex Nicoll,).
One other question: Is this based on the Marion Crawford novella? It DOES seem to have some similarities.
PAYBACK'S A BITCH! Thanks for the share! B )
With a cast of 5, and only 1 set, it is wonderful.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS MOVIE, I HAVE NOT SEEN IT IN YEARS, GRRRRRRREAT GHOST STORY, THANKS AGAIN, LOVE MICHAEL BERTSCH 5 STARES.
loved this movie as a kid, great seeing it again.
I'm 53. When I was 5 or 6 years old this was my very favorite movie – for some unknown reason. It would come on TV Saturday afternoons at least once a month and I can remember being so psyched when it played – I still have no clue what was so appealing to a child that young?
I first saw this movie with other kids at my babysitters' apartment. I remember kids scaring other kids with a toy skull while watching. Even though it was daytime, we got creeped out. Fun times.
Please don't send pictures like that
Oh my god it's too scary
Good picture quality, pity about the out of sync later on.
