  5. A very good film but who else was cheering on Mal? Great performance by Edmond O’Brien who often played co-lead but he made some classics as the lead including DOA and Nineteen Eighty Four where he came to London.

  12. This is a revelation for me. I only knew Edmond O'Brien movies when he was more of a gruff, tired older guy like in "The Wild Bunch", "The Last Voyage", or the episode of Mission:Impossible where he played a drug counterfeiter.

  41. Thanks for this really enjoyed it.Very intelligent Noir .O'Brien was excellent as always and so was the supporting cast, not a bad performance out of any of them. The closing Dam scene was well directed too,love that he kept his jacket and tie on to the las.
