  1. My Great Grandmother was. Lakota Sioux, given as a life for life to my ancestors as they had found an injured Indian boy , nursed him back to health. He directed them to his fathers camp. He was the Chiefs son???? I am 3rd generation since with indian traits and instincts which have guided me through my 69 years. Love and compassion for all life led me to studying and learning of the ancient ways which led me on a life of service to others. Now I am getting old and I see how lufe has changed and is now coming back around to those living ancestors of the ones who came to conquer and destroy.

  2. First time I saw this movie was at the drive inn so as you can see it was a long time ago my brothers took me my son enjoys it too know we have in DVD but he likes Wind Walker at most he's 22 God bless you take care

  3. It's a shame that the moors are claiming to be indigenous people like American Indians. They are not even close compared to true Indians. It makes my blood boil.

  4. I saw this movie along time ago and didn’t recall it until I got to the ending where the older sister realizes that she loves Winterhawk and she separates from her American family to live with Winterhawk and the Indians. I remember being emotionally upset at the ending not because it was bad but because the Native American Indians were always miss treated and he was a white woman who fell in love and wanted to be with her Indian protector. I am part Native American Indian, and I think the movie was made tastefully and I enjoyed seeing it again❣️ thank you to the Riders in the actors.

  7. TO the comment earlier I love this movie more than dances or last of the mohicans why more realistic.i am white my favorite race all native Americans up and down the coast etc.

  8. Love Native American movies!! I just wish there were more Native American actors instead of using white actors to portray native americans. It’s sad…Being native myself I wish there were more Native American movies today for people to watch and learn about Native American history.

  9. @Gene Williams Washtelo, I greet you in the Chanupa of My Ancestors. I am an uncommon man of Lakota Sungleska Oyate. There is a foretelling which is attributed to Crazy Horse. It goes like this, One day in the future there will be white people born who are actually reincarnated Lakota. These people are victims of the atrocities inflicted on our people. If you @Gene Williams wished you possessed Injun blood, it is likely you "might be one of these." These things are wakan to us. I am hoping you take this and find answers to what you seek. May Tunkashila guide you into truth. Hoka He
