  1. A truly terrible movie! But there is just something about 1960s movies that make even a movie as poor as this one watchable. The screenplay would have been about right for a cliffhanger serial except that the badguys are scum with no redeeming qualities. Another commenter explained the political reasons for the Mozambique title when there is no Mozambique whatsoever. Read Steve Cochran's Wikipedia bio and open the reference on his passing. He should have been one of the badguys!

But thanks for posting this playlist.

  2. Mel Gibson ?????? He is so narcissist and phony . Not comparable to Steve. Steve has an unbeatable man charm and soul independent. He is without any fear performance . Absolute man sincerity. He is better than ambitious James Bond. Unfortunately he didn't get this role being James Bond OO7…What a Man !!! Where are now days such performances of real Men??? …

  3. Ironically, Steve Cochran died of a lung infection the following year while sailing off the coast of Central America with three young women. Initially the women got lost at sea and did not make landfall untill 10 days later – in the meantime, Cochran's corpse was decomposing on the sailboat. In this case real life was more bizarre than the movie.

  4. Rated "B-minus" or "C".
    Major sections needed re-writes,
Technical Advisors should have been FIRED, and replaced with competent people.
    Cheap Cheap Cheap movie.
    A waste of time.

  5. No 'CONTEXT' nor 'circumstances' is given in this supposed airliner crash, all killed except this pilot!

This is ultra thin material to justify BLACKBALLing an experienced good pilot.

  6. …I have to say, the little person rolling down the stairs was more than hilarious, I know it wasn't meant to be…but it was ????????????
