The Courtship of Eddie’s Father

Who will be the next Mrs. Corbett? It’s a big decision for any boy to make for his recently widowed dad! Ronny Howard portrays Eddie and Glenn Ford is his dad.

  1. What a crap of movie!!!
Film makers trying to play psychologists come up with silly kiss-and-make-the-booboo-disappear garbage.
Other than the good looking women and the little kid, this is a waste of money. Thank God I didn't have to watch any ads or pay any money for this trash.

  2. Ron Howard was always surrounded by incredible directorial and acting talents – Paris, Lucas, Sheldon Leonard, Henry Fonda, etc during his career and in this case, Vincent Minnelli and Glen Ford and Shirley Jones.

  3. I was 11 when this was released. I saw it within a few years later. I can appreciate and understand the depths of it now like I never could before! Touched every heartstring I have, absolutely loved it!
My mom's heart too, she always wanted "a little red-haired boy that looked just like her." Ron was perfect for her.
Thanks and blessings for sharing this wonderful movie! ????????????????????

  4. What a heart warming movie with a delightful soundtrack. They used to really spend money and put a lot of effort into everything. The cast, soundtrack and writing were exceptional. All of this energy results in pure escapism and this was a nice slice of it. I only wish movies today would be more like this movie. It showcased the best of that golden age of the late 50s early 60s. MORE PLEASE – we need it!

  5. Such a beautiful movie!! I hadn't seen it in a few years. Ron Howard is a delight and what acting! You fall in love with this little boy immediately!! Characters and storyline just great!! ????????
