The Incredible Mr. Limpet

Arguably a cult film among baby boomers, this delightful comedy/fantasy tells the story of a nervous little Brooklyn bookkeeper who has an overwhelming love for fish. After rejection by the Navy, he actually becomes a fish (through the miracle of animation), meets a snail who shows him the “underwater” ropes, falls in love with a lady fish, and becomes a real war hero.

  1. I saw this movie as a kid, my grandma had it on dvd. I definitely liked it and still do to this day; but now that I'm older-
I kinda now realize that George was a terrible friend and a dang Jody lol

  2. It's funny how the movies promoted monogamy back then when all the people in the studios were sleeping with hookers and all the actors and all the producers were all liars and thieves and fornicators and I got no problem with any of it except for the liar part in the greed. Prostitution should be legal an women cheat more than men do.

  3. Oh my goodness I absolutely love this movie. I saw it a few decades ago and I fell in love with Don Knotts. I love how they made the fish look just like him….πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ cutest and funniest movie ever!!!
