10. I am 75 years of age, and have seen and admired this film, I don´t know how many times,, but every time i see it, it seems like the first time,, ,, always inspires admiration! Marvellous casting and an excellent story!

25. I always cry at the end of this movie. This movie is based upon a true Spanish character legend in history, around about 1043+. It is One of my favorite movies, love Charlton Heston, awesome film and a great actor, lots of emotion displayed in all of his characters he portrayed. Ben-Hur will always be my favorite though, and Moses is up with El CID great movies all as well, three of my favorites. Love all the movies Charlton Heston was in, I watch these many times whenever I can find them….HIGH 5…RIP CH, may your caring heart and dedication to your films inspire others…..👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼😇

30. Sadly El Cid fight for the bloody criminal Ferdinand and Isabel who treat him badly.
    His cause was Peace between spanish Christian and Muslims who lived ther for 800 Years but thé castillan have another plan .inquisition déportation and extermination of spanish Muslims.
