Great great movie!!! Great actors…. gone but not forgotten!!!
Wow! Such a beautiful film. At first I thought it was some mystery thriller, but it turned out to be even better! Thank you for uploading this classic!
Just watched this movie!!! Amazing! Full of life lessons! Wow, they certainly don't make impactful films like this again! May the Lord bless the person that posted this on YouTube!!!
I like movies where the actors and actresses are familiar. I don’t know any actors nowadays.
Men were men
Awsome movie, awsome acting
I know that Bette Davis meant alot to most people back in her time. Eventhough, she wasn't a real beauty like Greta Garbow, Katherine Hepburn, Jean Harlow or Carole Lombard, she sure had alot of style with a great talent as well. I grew up more with Shelley Winters. She was a fine hot babe back in her days. Lol! I also loved Keith Alwynn, the salesman. I remember all these actors when they were much older later on in the 1960s. Thanks alot! Johnny from Montreal.
Watching in 2020 anyone else??Loved Better Davis.💝
Aunt Bette … !?
What's funny is I really did have an Aunt Betty Merrill, Dad's oldest sis. Anyway. I always loved good ole Bette Davis. I wish they'd make a good expensive long movie about her. She was, and always will be, the epitome of Hollywood movie star legendary status, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Shes been RIP since 1989, and people still buy-stream her movies, and read biography books and watch old 90s TV docs in droves. You can't even rent or buy to stream the good 2006 documentary narrated by Susan Sarandon called "Stardust: The Bette Davis Story" which has a whopping 8.5 IMDb rating!? Amazon makes you buy the DVD or VHS tape!? I did find one stupid web claiming to stream it for free. It finally would after you were bombarded repeatedly first by the annoying ads that try to stick to ph's history cache that you have to keep clearing out, then it finally plays but you can't even full-screen it. So, ya see? She was quite the woman, actress, legend, movie star, last from the real Hollywood. We miss ya Mamma Goddamnit!

IMDB classified this movie as "Drama, Film-Noir " … I guess that's the technical term for a Cheesy Tearjerker-wannabe Waste of 90 minutes.
This was a sweet movie.

Bette is/was the Queen – loved every movie.
Bette Davis looked incredible
I sometimes like to guess what year a film is from when I start watching it when I didn't catch yet what year the film is from. That's the case with me watching this one. It is definitely not the 1930s anymore, because not many people were flying yet for travel in the 1930s. Also, the styles, such as the woman's hairstyle, that was sitting with them in the airport diner and then next to him on the plane. Definitely looked either late 1940s or early 1950s hairstyle. Also, I can tell that it was not the early 1960s yet, because passengers were flying on the first jet airliners (707s) around then. And at 1:03:20, I can tell by the style of singing from that man that the era was before the start of rock in the mid-late 50s
You dirty old man….
What do you mean, old ??? :))
