  4. Top-tier film entertainment with a great print. The story might be a tad far-fetched, but it is logically presented, the acting is well directed, and the varied locales, including Mexican cantinas, outdoor scenery, and roads with closeups of fine vintage automobiles make for a really fun escape. Fred MacMurray and Raymond Burr always make for fun watching. Yes, you really should see it!

  15. Great film. The dialogue is very sharp and funny at times, and the scenario very cleverly turned out. Beautiful black and white film too.

  19. Don diamond who played corporal Reyes in TV's Zorro, Raymond Burr known as Hollywood's biggest queen. Also, Fred McMurray was the inspiration for the orginal comic book Captain Marvel, he had a natural muscular physique when he first started in films.in the late 30's.

  21. About half way through Fred MacMurray finally became himself, in my reoriented mind, instead of Lee Marvin (who should have made more pictures like this one). Claire Trevor is a real cutie; I agree that she's too "clean" for such sultry work. The major bad guys looked more like community-pillar trial lawyer and bank president but, what the heck, the whole cast made a good play. Very enjoyable story, beautiful sets, nice range of Mexican actors and culture. Would like to have seen more animals in the picture; especially that tigers, who "eat like horses," growling in the background for their ration of horse meat. To make the viewing experience perfect, a plate of hot Mexican food and an ice-cold Corona, is called for — a fine cigar to follow. Thanks Pizza Flix.

  28. OMG! Where have I been? I grew up in the 50's and my dad used to take me Sunday afternoon to the movies to see all these fab films. I'm presently in heaven watching on my tablet. Thank u for ur ability to give us all this gift of film regardless of our technical understanding of the present format. Love
