Don't normally like cop shows but this one is good!
Correction.Aircraft number N3534C is still flying and located in Loomis,Ca. It is a Cessna 170B, I just had the 35 and 34 backwards. This aircraft was built in 1955
I looked up the registration number N3435C on the internet. It is a Cessna 170B built in 1954 and still flying,It is owned by Harter Holdings in Belleview Illinois.
Ransom
See how Crawford moved to his right to keep the dumb cop out of the line of fire. Forest ranger should be a fed so where is the fbi guy.
Crawford didn't see that jeep and ranger as he walked up to the plane?
She definitely wasn't hiding anything down those pants
These are edge of your seat shows . Sure i i watched this program back in the fifties . Nothing special back them . But now Vah vah Vuhroom
Why is Broderick Crawford on every call? Hope he gets overtime. 😁😁😁
If we get Jenny back I'm going to pull out.
If he would've pulled out there would be no Jenny
20:11 you can see the beutiful bright blueing on the Colt 1911 of the period .
Isn't that Guy Williams in this story? Before he was Professor Robinson on Lost In Space or before being Zorro for the Disney Studios, he was a deputy in Highway Patrol. How cool is that? And I have to say, the daughter really looks cute! But even the bad girl had more sense than the bad guys.
24:53 … Wow… Edie's girlfriend has the smallest waist in the world. I guess pretty girls have a thing for gardeners.
Back then Dan Mathews was fat… Today he would be "average build".
"Police!" She didn't have much of a poker face.
During its early broadcasting years, Saturday Night Live asked Broderick Crawford to host the show. He was sort of a colorless host until he took the SNL camera crew through his old neighborhood in Philly. It was in that setting that the viewer realized this guy could have lived the life of a highway cop. He was tough, succinct, and gregarious. It was an interesting insight into the late-life of a screen legend.
Broderick Crawford was a great actor and i really like him but unfortunately reality set in and he had a couple of Dui s and some of his driving scenes were shot on private property because he lost his drivers license…
Damn right, eddie coopers girl is sizzling hot.24.54 fit as a fiddle w. long legs and all. I do think shes the best one yet. Back then every guy wore a hat too. Good episode again. ty
Dan "balls to the wall" Mathews would run his grandma in for jaywalking on her way to church 🙂
LOL, classic Mathews: 10:38 "I don't think you'd take the chance of splattering yourself all over the countryside just to come up here and toast marshmallows"
Too bad the "patrol academy " didn't teach the rule of "consent".. Old matt takes a lot of liberties with American Law.. He does this in most of his episodes.. No search without warrant or consent… Most of his bust should be thrown out for illegal search and civil liberty violations… js
I remember that in some of the shows he had the longest mic cord, he could almost talk on the radio standing in front of the car..
At about 3:10 as the Policeman starts to look around inside the plane you can see a man walk past the plane window, oops!
What was so important about who got out of the plane first?
The " Brod " has a little Ray Donovan in him.
I love Matthew Broderick's acting.
"They're sure doin a lot of gabbin down there"…cracked me up!..
8:03 This wouldn't be the Spann (sp?) ranch would it? It still would have been in use for filming tv and movies at that time.
Television at this time always did the close ups with the meanest looking people. What I'd give to live during America's golden age where a man could make $40 a week and live on it with a house, car and family. What the hell happened?! (I know-but I'm sick of politics.)
