It's great seeing Lon so young and handsome. Thanks so much for posting this.
Thank you for posting. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful Sheila Terry.
This blows me away! Ray Kirkwood was my Grandpa and his wife Zarah Tazil was my Grandma . I’m floored that I found these movies on YOUTUBE. I’m especially floored anyone watched them let alone commented !!
This is the 1943 reissue.
Another 30s movie dusted off for the patrons of the 40s to cash in on a latterly famous name in the cast.
The date for this movie should be changed to 1935 according to IMDb (Lon Chaney, dir. by Newmeyer) 🙂
excellent quality! thanks!!!!!!!!!!
This film was actually made in 1935
Good movie..storyline and acting. .Great job considering the time it was made.
Not only your opinion, I believe it is the opinion of all of the "better" films of the past, universally. Thank you for posting and taking the trouble to answer. Mary
Ms. Wilder a lovely name), I understand what you mean, I think, but the real magic of film is that each film stands alone, forever. Make one great film, and an endless number of bad films will be forgotten, while the great remains great. Cinema transcends the infantile view of "What have you done for me lately?."
Oh…I must admit that, given the time context, "The Wolfman" beats the competition, and ALL modern "zombie" or "vampire" flicks. Period. My opinion only, I fully and sadly realize.
It seems that Lon Chaney Jr career was ruined by playing The Wolfman, sad.
I love Lon Chaney Jr. Thank you for posting this.
1935, not 1943
