She lives in Leave it to Beavers house đ
I must be dumb but I don't get the ending with the keys.
I really enjoyed this for the acting, storyline, fashions, and general "look". But I could sure do without all the paternalistic male attitude going on. Thank God I'm young enough that I didn't have to live with that so overtly, like my mom surely did in her generation. That's just how it was.
Excellent !!!!!! Thank you! âşď¸
What a lovely ending to what could have been quite ugly. Thank you for the upload.
Ida Lupino has always been an awesome actress
Yike! Why doesn't she turn the water off???
Loved the ending.
Thanks for uploading this!! I wonder if you have the other episode with Gena Rowlands?? It's from the second season and it's called "Won't it ever be morning?"
In the end,it made me go just awwwww.,..
Interesting that they gave Ida Lupino lots of lines, because she's a talker rather than an emoter — and Gena Rowlands few lines, because she expresses everything so well with her face.
Same motel as the last episode?
I WASNâT EXPECTING THAT ENDING. ABSOLUTELY AWWWWWWâŚ
It's the "Leave it to Beaver" house!
Best ending so far! Wow, Gena Rowlands was a stunner.
I miss these days dearly!
I grew up watching these shows with my Parents! So glad they are found and being posted for me to watch again in my late 50"s
They were all wonderful ida lupino should have been as big as Davis or Crawford gena rowlands superb actress beautiful woman overshadowed by her multi talented and brilliant husband she was mrs cassavetes he came first
PLEASE RELEASE MORE SUSPENSE THEATER!
All good, but who drinks milk?
Aloha peeps.
Iâve been watching these here on YouTube for a few years now, but this one, I think was THEE best. Great ending. Thanks for posting it.
This episode first aired Nov 14 1963, one week before the big JFK Psyop.
This John Williams score is very capable and high level. That being said, what Dick Di Benedictus did on Columbo was something else!
Did Kraft Suspense Theater try to cash in on the success of Alfred Hitchcock? Universal productions were first rate but the story writing content is noticeably light weight.
Love from Turkey
Husband read the note but ptretended he hadn't read.
Love this!
Was this originally in colour? Something's off…
O my goodness another.brilliant play xby great actors x great screenplay. O how I wish we could have them today instead of the rubbish we are getting. Thankyou for filling my time with pleasure. Xxxx Linda Bellamy UK
If I'm not mistaken that's '' Leave It To Beavers '' house ….
And not one advertisement.
Gena Rowlandâs AND Ida LapinoâŚâŚâŚWOW
Leslie Nielsen is SO dishy.
when i was little i couldnt wait to grow up and have negligees like the tv ladiesâŚ20 years later I found out how uncomfortable they are!
the suitcases are obviously empty. bad props dept. actors should have caught it. old tv has a lotta sloppy.
Admittedly, from 46:45 till the end, I was actually driven to tears by the depiction of such rarified love and compassion. And I'm a 51 year old man.
You've got to LOVE the understanding husbands…
I'm hooked watching all these old shows
I was born in 61 land I remember the late 60's and 70's. My family was not rich — blue collar. But we had a house sitting on a piece of land 75 feet wide. Even though we were not rich, my mom made sure we (my brother and myself) were dressed well. She knew how to sew and she was a great seamstress. She made a lot of my dad's dress shirts; my brothers shirts and all of my dresses as well as her own. Suits for women were very popular. She would wear either a princess line, slim dress with a 3/4 sleeve, short waisted jacket, or what was called a shirt dress; or a skirt with a cap sleeved top tucked in and some type of jacket over it. My Dad always wore a dress shirt, tie and pleated slacks. He also always wore a fedora hat; and of course the wing tips! He sported what was called a thin, French line mustache. His thick, wavy hair was always well combed. My mother Kept the house spotless and we always had a home cooked meal. When my Dad and Mom dated, back in the early 50's, she said my Dad always picked her up wearing a pleated slacks, dress shirt, tie and suit jacket and — yes — the wing tips! She said it did not matter how poor you were, you managed to have at least a couple really, well made suits — that went for men and women. I had a lot of Uncles and Aunts and they all dressed like my parents. And of course your absolute best was worn for church. Every year for Christmas you wore a brand new outfit made for the holidays. All my Aunts sewed, so all of us cousins had beautiful hand-made 'outfits'. Life was so different back then and I miss it. At 60, I have a lot of years to compare my childhood to, and I have only seen things getting worse. So sad. I love watching these old shows because they actually feel familiar to me — like an old friend. Thanks to all the people who go through all the trouble of putting this stuff on the net.
The first time I ever watched Ida in such an awful part! Her acting (what was allowed of it) was still perfection along with Gene and Mr. Nielson!!! All with great acting and or Direction skills just too bad it was thrown together to fill a ":Time Slot"! Imagine what was left on the cutting room floor! Always and 3 days an Ida fan!!!!
this is amazing
I've never watched this show before, but Leslie Neilson caught my attention. That was a great story. I'll be sure to watch more.
As of 2021, Gena Rowlands is the sole surviving cast member, I believe. She also performed in numerous âCBS Radio Mystery Theaterâ episodes, 1974-1982.
Harriet mother of karen
Excellent suspense. Goes to show you adding gross stuff doesn't make it better just depraved. How I miss the TV of old. Thank God for film!!! đşđ¸đşđ¸
