Peter Ustinov’s dry humour is great in this!

Magnificent! In His eyes We are all the same The worth of a Man Is in His Heart
An excellent movie unlike all the movies they are making now.
Great sound design and fantastic collaboration between composers Alfred Newman and Bernard Herrmann!
Muy interesante película. Buena ambientación y banda musical. Excelentes actuaciones. Necesaria conocer el antiguo Egipto. Martín
Wonderful movie! I was entertained, on the edge of my seat, happy, sad, angry, tearful. Thanks for sharing. 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
The ONLY "film noir"" movie in this genre. Thank you.
Boy, are you spoiling me with these posts! I first saw this as a child and it completely blew me away as an accurate picture of my then (late '50s early '60s) National Geographic-informed view of Ancient Egypt. And that was on a small B&W television screen. Since, that time we have a much more complex revision of the actual Egyptian society BUT this remains a classic of Mid-century Modern Hollywood art design. There's nothing else like it. I wish Rock Hudson, who was among the many originally considered, had been able to perform as Sinhue. But Edmond Purdom who actually physically resembles Hudson, if not his star presence, isn't at all bad. For people drawn in by the story, check out the denser detailed Mika Waltari novel on which it is based. It needs an updated full-text translation but is still worth seeking out. Thanks DK CLASSICS for a beautiful print which does justice to the original!
it's such a good movie
This movie is a real classic. It pulls you in with its storyline and is a movie you can watch again and again. So nice you posted it, thank you so much!
