  1. I didn't know about this movie. Jean Renoir is a fantastic filmmaker, and the cast is superb, just like the quality of the upload. Thank you very much for posting it!

  2. What a cast. And that last half hour got DARK! Great tension in the moments Dana Andrews is proving he didn’t sell the old guy out. That’s how you get a reaction from your audience. Thanks for a first time watch.

  3. Red River Valley was a continual refrain in the movie and Walter Brennan also happened to be in the movie Red River. Co-incidence? Glade they only had one snake scene.

  4. How had I not seen this before? What a great movie! Now one of my old favorites. I'll watch it again. Beautiful. Thanks so much!

  5. What a great show! There are lots of big stars in it, and a complex and touching story. It's very well written, produced, directed, and acted, in every way. The sound and picture are great too. Really well worth seeing! I find those accents very annoying, but by the end I sort of got used to them.
