  2. This proves my idea that British comedy is Light-Years ahead of American comedy. Hollywood seems to thrive on the Simple-Mindedness of the people. And from the looks of the Mental State of Americans, it is easy to see how that works quiet well. But British comedy reaches deep into their culture and blends their comedy (and drama as well) without having to incorporate just one group. For an Underwear Salesman of 1947 to have $40 in his Wallet is unthinkable.That would be a months salary.
