Caroline was played by the gal (Anna Lee) who played Baby Jane's nosey neighbor Mrs. Bates.
What a wonderful soul Ronald Coleman has. It feels as though he's right here with you.
CUTE MOVIE movie πΏ πΏπΏπΏπΏπΏπ₯
Mr. Coleman is as always a great actor but this was a long and boring movie. No spark or sizzle with the wife.
5 stars!! The dialogue was incredible and the actors were great. Today's actors have no class. The poor dear needs children to occupy her time and show her how much she is loved. Comically adorable.
This is an either you like it or you don't movie.I know that's true of all films but somehow more so with this one. Reginald Gardiner was not quite the right guy for this. In 'The Horn Blows at Midnight' he has brilliant comic timing. His portrayal as a fake symphony conductor is virtuosic, wherein he is actually a con artist. In 'My Life With Caroline' he is unfortunately rather leaden but then, of course he makes Coleman all the more attractive. And Colman, as always is excellent. So too is Charles Winninger. A little more of Gilbert Roland would have unquestionably helped. I don't like the character of Caroline very much, nevertheless Anna Lee did a wonderful job of playing her. And last but not least, kudos to the Bull Dog, who is quite a sweet fellow after all.
As an old movie fan, I can't believe I've never seen this one. In my estimation, Ronald Coleman never made a bad movie. Thanks for sharing!
Anna Lee was on General Hospital in her later years.
EXCELLENT !!! Ronald was the greatest !!
love
Introducing Anna Lee in this film……….later on to have longevity in the role of Lila Quartermaine on General Hospital an American soap opera.
Ronald Colman is one of my true favorites. Sigh…. The presence of Gilbert Roland is just gravy. Sigh….
No wonder people despise the frivolous and time-wasting rich.
I had never heard of this film! I saw Gilbert Roland and I was in!! This was delightful.
Nobody would put up with a spouse who was so unfaithful, selfish, and idiotic.
Absolutely delightful! Thank you!
A cute film tysm
Nice!
What a darling film
36 mins you can't talk quietly on a boat.
Loved it! What a foolish woman
100,000 $ in 1941 is worth $1,847,333.33 in today's money. Only 1.8 M per annum to live off. No wonder he was worried.
Ronald Coleman, Anna Lee, Charles Winninger, Reginald Gardiner and Gilbert Roland.
Terrible.
Lila Quartermaine as a babe!
What a delightful romp! Gilbert Roland ~ I can't forget the affair he had with Greta Garbo and then threw away his life on alcohol ~ what a waste! Although, at one time Marlene Dietrich came to Roland's rescue sobering him up for a while until another man drew her attention away from Roland.
My husband just asked me: "Don't they do screen tests?" He was referring, of course, to the un-talent of Anna Lee. You had every ingredient for a fun film: great sets, beautiful camera work, Reginald Gardner, Winninger – the same Ronald Colman who was magnificent in "Champagne for Caesar" – and you put them in a movie with Anna Lee and the film goes flat like a tire. Take these same actors and give them Jean Arthur to act around and – excellence! What a bore.
Lila Quartermain from General Hospital as a young woman.
A charming film. Thank you for uploading.
what a sweet movie
This is a fantastic script! A gem! I enjoyed the direction so much. I wish there were more like it.
Bom filme. Para quem desejar, hΓ‘ legenda em PT no site opensubtitle.org
ENJOYED IT. EVEN MORE THE 2ND, TIME AROUND. THANKS UPLOADER!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad Ronnie didnβt make more comedies, he was really very good! Great timing, and charming as always.
NOT one of Ronald Coleman's better films…… And certainly a script NOT Up To Par with HIS talent….!!!
An unfortunate waste of time, even with the magnificent Ronald Coleman.
Introducing? She had been in films for a decade
Anna Lee flops as the 'irresistible' woman
YUCK
I Just Had to watch it again π π₯πΏπ₯π¦©
