If the guy wants to get more romantic why doesn’t he meet her after work?
she was just gorgeous! I felt sorry for him, depending on how you see the plot? Perhaps he was genuine???? One will never Know? Perhaps he was married, which was why only lunchtime. We were not afforded that answer. Anyway two small parts to two legends, Michael Robins(Arthur in On The Buses) and Nigel Davenport(many great British films of which Virgin Soldiers is my favourite of his)

The young woman reminds me a bit of actress Romy Schneider, famous for portraying Empress Elizabeth "Sissy" of Austria. Romy died much too soon. My goodness, that elderly waitress is quite something! With an attitude like that she wouldn't have worked in my restaurant! Also, l find the man not particularly charming or attractive. Best to stay away from workplace affairs.
I CAN'T BELEIVE you cut off the movie before the end credits (what 1 minute or so) was over!!! THAT mood is REALLY IMPORTANT.

OMG! At 9:33 it's Aqualung picking a dog end from the gutter, on the left side of your screen. I kid you not. Looks exactly like the same tattered guy on the Jethro Tull "Aqualung" album cover.

Enjoyed this very much. As in "Don't Talk to Strangers", the ending is rather abrupt. Why are the opening & closing credits not shown ? Is it some type of copyright problem ? Just wondering. In any case, this was a fine little film with a good script & good cast. THANK YOU for sharing with us !!
