  1. This movie is a historical document. It illustrates an all Black cast performing at their best. If I were alive in 1943 , I would have been asking the beautiful soul sisters, ''are you married? ''

  2. Thank you soooo much for sharing this classic. I’ve never
Seen it and it was only available for rent /buy here. I’ll be sure to share your channel and content ❤

  3. Thank you, Simon Templar Film!

This is the best history lesson regarding black music one can get. Just recently have I learned about Lena Horne. Cab Calloway blows me away along with the Nicholas Brothers.

    'Hollywoodism' brought me here.

  4. Brilliant movie. All my favourites, Cab Calloway, Bill Robinson, Fats Waller, Ada Brown, Lena Horne, Nicholas Brothers with an incredible dance routine. This movie has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and with good reason. It is just great!

  5. Thank the heavens for my for father's and Godess of Lena Horne… i am nothing if not for her sake..❤❤❤❤❤????????????????????????????????????????????????

  6. I'm not even from that era and the Nicholas Bros. piece is some of the finest dancing I've seen on film. I can't even explain the greatness of their dancing and I bet they didn't even know how great they were. Just 2 lovers of dance.
