I met one of the killers, one day riding a bus in Arcadia, California. It was 1999. I was babysitting my twin niece, and nephew who lived in Arcadia. I was riding the bus back home. There were a few older men sitting on the bus, who had spent the day at Santa Anita horse race track. As I sat there, one of the group of older men started a conversation with me. He then pointed to another of his friends, and asked me, "Do you know that a gang of mafia members killed a bunch of men on St Valentines day, 1929?" I said, "Yes, you mean the St Valentines Day Massacre?" I added, "Yes, I just finished reading the book." He stated as he pointed to an older man sitting on one of the buses seat, "Well, you see my friend over there, he was one of the shooters." I said to him, "Really? 😮 that little scrawny man over there that is easy to beat up?" The man who was the shooter looked very frail, short in stature, and was under weight. When the former Al Capone gang member heard our conversation, he bowed his head in a sort of shameful way. I guess he felt remorse, but obviously it's too late. We need to think before we commit crimes. e.g. What will the outcome be? I look back at that day, I think, that I should have sat down next to him, and asked him about why he did that day.
I think of how much "Star Trek: A Piece of the Action", broadcast on NBC-TV a few months after the release of "Massacre", was actually a brilliant comedic send up of the stereotypes and dreadful ethnic accents portrayed in the film.
This is one to buy for your collection because it gets better with age.
I find it hard to believe that Roger Corman directed this it's so good
Great Film and A True Story!! Narrated throughout and The Characters are Told in Details!! Very Good!!🌹🔫🌹🔫

That's Jack Nicholson at 1:23:50. Must have seen this movie a million times, first time I noticed him. Confirmed on IMDb.
Happy St. Valentine's Day!
This is a terrible movie. No plot. No point.

I’m a George Segal fan from way back
In this film I couldn’t wait for him to get whacked.

Al Capone was born into an Italian family who lived in Tunisia and then set out to live and settle in America..This information is for those who do not know it.
This was a good action movie of all Capone and the infamous St. Valentine's massacre just came back from Chicago on that tour of Capone's brewery
