I love this movie.
Robert Brachman did the painting but it reminds me more of paintings by Andrew Wyeth.
Ty for posting these beautiful movies
If you haven't seen good morning Miss Dove another beautiful movie with Jennifer in it watched it 5 times in a row . absolutely love the terrible miss Dove
I love any movie with Jennifer Jones in it she just draws you in ❤❤❤❤
Great Movie
I have seen this movie 10 times.
The etheral nature reminds me of the movie, "Miracle in the Rain." Another beautiful movie that makes the mind wonder, What if?"
One of my favorites! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Love the Debussy all the way through it, my favourite composer
This is the kind of movie that'd be shown on TCM. It's like a gender reversal of The Ghost & Mrs Muir that starred Rex Harrison as Capt Gregg & Gene Tierney as Mrs Muir. A very heartwarming story 2 say the least. I love the way the storm, thru special effects, was made 2 look sort of greenish, if anyone noticed & how, at the very end of the movie, the girls looking & Jennie…..in technicolor…..sort of like The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy's house crash landed…..B & W 2 technicolor.😊
loved it thankyou
Is the woman supposed to be a young girl?
What a delight.
The music and the silk scarf remind me of the ballet l’apres-midi d’un faune which I saw in 1979 at Covent Garden with Nureyev and Fonteyn playing the title roles.
One of my most favorite movies growing up I know I've seen it more than a dozen times but I never Tire of it I'm so lucky to have grown up as a child with this kind of magic in my heart
The scene with Joseph cotten and Lillian Gish in the chapel was so powerful
This was one of the most beautiful iconic love stories of its time
Musical score is way too intrusive.
Jennifer Jones is much too old to be playing this role.
A story of romance, kindness, loyalty and faith

Who among these three young girls is Nancy Davis, who will marry Ronald Reagan years later to be the First Lady of the United States in the 1980s?
Haven't seen this movie in years. Glad I came across it again today.
The song Jenny sings at the beginning is exactly like Bjork, the Icelandic singer. I reckon she nicked the image for her entire persona. The other item of note is the term "Muriel" to denote "Mural" through an affectionate image of the simple yet uninformed which was used extensively by Coronation Street, a long running soap in the UK,. I haven't watched the end yet, but I already know who Jennie is, no spoilers 🙂
Afternoon Of A Faun by Debussy
A romance from heaven to earth. There is so much power and true love in this epic.
Jennifer Jones made this film. She was absolutely mesmerizing in it. Wished she ended her career on a high note. Her last two movies had her character falling to their deaths.
Aloha, yes, I grew up watching these classic movies; Wurthering Heaghts, Camille, Casablanca – The Golden Age of Hollywood🏆👏🏼♥️.
I absolutely LOVE this movie!! I've seen it many times and it is so beautiful, right down to the classical Debussy Music. TYSM for this!!
