thanks for posting, Frank Morgan is always a hoot, Fredrick March is kind of forgotten today but quite the comedic swashbuckler, Constance Bennett was good as the alluring and dangerous countess, but the highlight to me was Fay Wray as the utterly clueless Angela. Wray was far more versatile then a lot of modern movie goers realize if they only saw her in King Kong. Her comedic timing was great and the best line in the movie "if your going to hang him, mother and I would like to leave."
I too enjoy Fay Wray's films, Woman in the Shadows shows another side of her talent as does Ann Carver's profession, the former is on Youtube but not the ladder
According to IMDB, Lucille Ball may appear as a "lady-in-waiting," but this is "unconfirmed" (and, of course, uncredited). See if you agree with me that she may be the lady over the Duchess's left shoulder at about 4:13.
Fay Wray is just wonderful in this. Of course, her iconic performance in KING KONG is what she'll always be remembered for (talk about perfect casting) but by no means does it end there.
Thanks for the upload. I am a big fan of the adorable Fay Wray. I am only 42 years old, but I like to check out these old films.
La Cava and Meyer (To be or not to be), two classic names of Hollywood comedy!

I think you may be right J.F. sure looks like her
Thanks, Ss. Lucy may also be over the Duchess's left shoulder at 49:32.

It's a cute little comedy with four good performances (five if you count Calhern's as well).
the movie is very captivating
2:10, Hey, It's Professor Marvel!
