I really love these corny old movies. Probably terrified the 1935 audiences. A wonderful way to pass an hour. Bet the actors etc associated with this film never imagined it would still be watched 81 years later. Harsh critics should be reminded that when these old films were made, today's technical wonders were not available. I love it.
Get a hold of "The bela Lugosi Collection, DVD with 'The Raven' 'The Black Cat' 'Black Friday' and 'Murders in the Rue Morgue' good value and excellent prints in pristine condition. This is horrible.
This is a waste of time; can't actually see the picture.
I absolutely love the classic horror movies, and I love Bela Lugosi, n Boris Karloff. They were rivals during their films. I think that the role of Frankenstein was offered to Legosi, but he didn't like the idea of the huge costume n bolt in his neck, so was said, and Karloff took the role. I've always loved all these old movies, and just today I binged watched Bela Lugosi movies. I just finished watching the devil bat. it was good!
this movie made in the 30's doubt there is a copyright issue and why not just NOT POST IT after youve made it unwatchable you idiot.
That was a crushing defeat for Lugosi.
The picture is poor quality, but there is another one that perfect quality by another person.
Unwatchable-going to switch to dailymotion!
Love the scene of the electric horse race where the colonel and his wife try to joke with volin lugosis chracter his face is classicly stoic it just made me laugh in hysterics
Throwing commercials into this movie is actually a bad idea, at least for me anyway. It made me resentful enough not to buy the product that's advertised. I know I'm probably over sensitive but everywhere there's commercials.
It's like watching a classic film with cataracts, but I suppose the text generation will accept anything as their expectations are so low and dull.
I turned up my brightness and it was fine. No problem to watch. A good old terror movie. Similar to the black cat also with Bela Lugosi & Boris Karloff
01:07 Letting women drive cars was just a bad idea.
whats up with the light in the middle of the screen,, there are tons of movies like this. Is it a funky transfer machine? Maybe the are made like this so we buy the youtube premium? I don't get it. It can't just be incompetence.
this was great but all the commercials just about 8 minutes break up the continuity of the film.
Bela <3
I originally saw this movie on B&W TV. The picture was much better than this crap! 😲
This is bullshit what's with the light only in the center of the screen? This is a really good movie but this is public domain already if I'm not mistaken so what's with the shitty quality???
Well the commercials and editing to the original footage are kind of a pain but you can't really complain considering it's free.
If they ever remake this they should have robert englund and kane hodder
27 ads for less than one hour's run time? Screw you, Sir!
For me Bela Lugosi just isn't scary, no matter which part he is playing, he does not do it for me. I love horror & hammer & mad scientists, so I have seen them all and I think he is the worst Dracula. Never mind, you can not like them all 👻
POE, YOU ARE AVENGED!!!!
This is a good classic.
Great horror movie. The picture quality could be better.
I am always thankful for downloads of old films. As long as they have a beginning and ending, I am happy😊
Ruined by frequent interruptions. You should be arrested.
A great old horror classic. A worthy followup to "The Black Cat". Too bad Universal didn't create a role for Dwight Frye in this and other films.
Haha I loved it! Just the way it is. No commercials, crappy picture. That's how it was in the old 40's tv's… It was great. Love these 2 classic stars together.
Ugly creepy horror the best and sadistic to
You left a little bit of the image in the center.
I like the ending especial when the lady says, "So you're the big bad raven"? and the guy goes "uhuh" and I like the music.
clasSICK
Great old fashioned horror movie
