WATCH at 30:28, after the Iris shot there is a great Tracking shot that's quite innovative for 1931. I saw this kind of shot in a film made 10 yrs later in ” CITIZEN KANE."
CHESTER MORRIS,despite an Oscar nomination for his first "talkie , " ALIBI," in 1929; I felt he was very underrated as an actor. He & Thelma Todd were great together.
According to several sources; Roland West ( Thelma's lover) on his deathbed , confessed to Chester Morris, that he had killed Thelma Todd.
