love ginger, she also was born to act.Thank God!!!!!!
Thanks a lot for sharing !
I'm only 13 but all my life I have wanted to live in the 1930's!!! Everything about that time was just so perfect in my eyes & this movie made my love fall much deeper for these films! I'm inspired
I work and can't afford cable. When my TV broke 2 years ago I just use my computer and go to where there is free Wi-fi.
When you get older and learn more about history you will find out it was not so great.
What a very charming old movie with great actors and the pretty young innocent and no-dancing Ginger Rogers!
Pay, pay, pay… television fee is not enough, cable is not enough anymore, special channel abonnements are still not enough – they are not showing good movies anymore, you should also pay for private pay-tv! – Thank everone for the movies at youtube!
1930ies, 1940ies, 1950ies – but only a wonderful world in movies, as you will learn at school.
old woman
Ginger age 35, playing a teenager. That's acting!
she did it before as well in the Major and the Minor.
Thanks!
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Did you see her at the Senate hearing on the colorization of B & W films? She is so smart and so aware of everything that is needed for a good performance. People often underrrate the ability of actors in Hollywood's golden era. Ginger also reads a letter from Jimmy Stewart, who was able to attend, to the Senate. Another wise actor.
That is a very sweet movie with great actors, and Ginger Rogers look wonderful in the long dress at the ball, thank you for posting this great old film.
Ludacris
Ginger who was 35 at the time, and look every day of it, plays an 18 year old runaway from reform school
The way they convey youth is to smear her face with Vaseline
Other than that minor fact,enjoyable
how come she never ages in any of the movies I've seen with her in them? She always looks no more than a day older than 25
Enjoyed this love story, thanks! Refreshing to see people using facial expressions and body language, speaking volumes without speaking a word…and when they do speak, their tone and timing also reveals what's happening! The feminine fashions, their shiny, bouncy hair, glowing eyes and skin radiating health, the women's tiny waists and natural curving bosoms and way of moving gracefully. AAhhhh….and the clearly defined line between feminine and masculine humans!
Great FILM!!!!
Sorry, folks. Loved her when she danced with Fred; otherwise she never rang true. Always a bit taken with her dramatic posing as if she were really emoting. Apparently I'm in the minority, at least as far as these viewers go. But just take a look at Tender Comrade or some such tripe and tell me she's not full of baloney. Also she would be a Tea Party person given her politics a half century ago. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Now don't get hot under the collar. This is all worth not much. But you know that already.
Thank you so much for posting this. Such a pleasure to see these old treasures. I appreciate your effort. You are very kind!
Loved it!
great thanks
I loved the movie, and the struggle to perfect Ginger's hair. At the end of the movie, they got it correct! I am sure the chemicals were harsh!
DISAPPOINTING FIRST HALF
POSTPONED WATCHING
more!
Why did Ginger insist on playing teens half her age when she was in her mid-30s? It's kind of amusing in THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR because it's intended to be obvious she was too old for the character. But here, she just looks OLD. (old for the character, I mean)
I adore Ginger, though. It's just something that annoys me. Rathbone is wonderful here, especially in the early scenes.
Thanks so much for posting this wonderful movie! Truly love it! Ginger Rogers is one of my favorite actors of ALL time!
How's it possible that she's rated as one of the top actresses by AFI with such terrible acting skills
She is so beautiful !!!!
Can you post a movie i color please.
The girl is me the girl that sends all the mesages.

Ginger Rogers was a true beauty.A visual feast to look at. Eye candy for sure.
Thanks for this contribution! If you're from America, brush up on your spelling a tad!
To me, she resembles Suzanne Sommers acting! The wide eyed blonde with gullibility & goofy voice!
I love Ginger Rogers😃
I love Ginger Rogers 😃
she did everything fred astaire did, only backwards and in high heels.
silly and sweet! love flora the dog!
So cute. Ginger was a knock out to put it in the old vernacular❤👍
Beautiful, beautiful. Thank you ❤️❤️
Love happy endings!
Ginger Rogers was 35 in 1946.
