If you didn't see pink elephants, you weren't paying attention. This is a typical early-1930's film, with the mansion and the dead body and a slight dash of offbeat humor. See also 'Sinister Hands' and 'Murder at Midnight'. You can bring them up on YouTube. Watch for me playing the part of the doorknob.
