Perfect example of the lack of resistance. Which causes all rivers and most men to become crooked.
Awsome 1st class guy
The guy at 36:43 is Ed Brophy who was the voice of Timothy the mouse in Walt Disney's Dumbo
BORING PLOT
Where are there smart phones and laptops?
James Cagney one good actor and not like the rest Hollywood crowd he was married to the same woman for 64 years. Thank you for this movie.
Please put on some Jimmy Cagney gangster films
even in a soft movie like this, cagney puts his hands on somebody. i miss him.
WHAT A FANTASTIC MAN , HUMANATARIAN, HUMAN BEING. HE WAS ONE OF THE ELITE!!!

Thank you very much for this very enjoyable upload. It brings back memories of watching these b/w when I was a kid in the 1960s'. Now my 12yo nephew enjoys them! It goes to show that classics always endure throughout in time.
Typical Cagney flix. He plays another " Lippy " hero. His girlfriend is a bitch. He always gets double-crossed by some jerk and then has a huge fight scene where he beats the crud out of the villain.
love cagney fantastic actor
I love Cagney's eyes! Even in black & white his eyes are stunning!
James learned to dance by watching other vaudvill actors on stage.kpieta
Cagney was my favorite old time actor. He was the best!
The intelligence of the dialogue here is never matched by today's films. They don't make'em like this anymore.
Thank You,Video Cellar4 Sharing this entertaining movie! Mr.Cagney was always Good in any movie he was in,in his career! Ms.Clark& rest of actors very good, also!
According to James Cagney's autobiography Cagney By Cagney, (Published by Doubleday and Company Inc 1976, and ghost written by show biz biographer Jack McCabe), a Mafia plan to murder Cagney by dropping a several hundred pound klieg light on top of him was stopped at the insistence of George Raft. Cagney at that time was president of the Screen Actors Guild, and was determined not to let the mob infiltrate the industry. Raft used his many mob connections to cancel the hit.
The ending LOL Cagney spends a minute beating someone up. He always beats up at least one person a movie.
How nice all comments positive thank you all
Cagney being married to the same woman while being in Hollywood says a lot of a man. Everyday he could of gotten a divorce surrounded by the enticement of Hollywood. He is true man!
I love James Cagney. Movies like his are the ones we need now, not the violent, tranny, gay and war bullshit movies Hollywood has made for the last 40 years.
