Once again, a B movie which has only done a justice to these actors ~ which has only done wonders for their future! Loving it as I watch these professional & successful performers! It is of little matter now, as we remember their beginning performances ~ which to me is just as deserving as their later ones. Only their continuing ambition made them who they are then, today & I hopefully pray God, they will be remembered for generations to come!
wonderful old movie great acting worth a watch 🌞👍
THANX 4 UPLOADING
I wonder if Vincent Price actually sang, or if a professional vocalist's voiceover was used.
a most wonderful movie…
Great film thanks.
Never let the "B" be a deciding factor. Many "B" films, (like this one) are brilliant!!! I do agree with Suzie W below and hope these marvelous actors are always remembered. Saunders and Price were always magnificent. I would love to see more of Margret Lindsay's films. She was perfect in this role. Thank you Mary Kate for sharing such a fine film with all of us.
I guess shock value is replacing the old time , public relations or publicity agent in Hollywood as all their pip squeaks seem to be exhibiting their private parts to the audience … if the fathers would put these kids into correction schools or even boot camps to wise their kid up ,quick time then their valuable and wonderful talents will better society and give good examples to the audiences they influence ! Be respectful is the first rule .. along with ,do no harm .. Hollywood needs to clean up their act ….!!!
An Excellent movie!! So Well acted by All of the actors/actresses! No Way Is This a"B" movie! Those were films made in the 50's that took up a lot of " useless celluloid!" Mr.Price,a native St.Louisian, was So Handsome! Ditto4 Mr.Sanders! I always enjoyed listening to Mr.Price's distinctive voice- such a resonant tone!! Thanks Much4 showing this Great Picture!! Nancy Sanders
excellent movie I liked it a lot
Barring real life personality, for character rolls, it seems funny that Price was the good guy, and Sanders that bad… but what a pleasure to see both of these great actors in the same film!
Isn't this the Nathaniel Hawthorne "House of Seven Gables", the first mystery novel? ( Not to be confused with Poe's first detective novels.) Excellent screen production. So impressed.
Great film
Thanks for the upload. I loved this movie!!
5 minutes in before I recognised the very young Vincent Price, What a great movie, brilliant acting!
Saw Vincent in a different light here and he was great and George, of course, always great at what does best.(ls)
Enjoyed the movie very much, very good, Thanks for sharing
What a wonderful movie! Thanks Mary Kate.
Vincent's voice sounds so different. Excellent as always, but………….different.
No B movie, very good…〽️📽
Thank you Mary Kate for this movie. Seeing Sanders, Price and Margaret Lindsey which I didn't know, in such early year, was marvelous.
What an enjoyable film this was! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing it with us!!
This is one of the few films in Vinnie's career where he didn't play a villain 😃
Thanks so much for posting this. Two of my favorite actors. Great way to spend a rainy day!
This movie is called The House of Seven Gables Get it right. Thanks.
That was Vincent Price's real voice. – What he needed was some full-blast syncopated electronic drums and electric guitars, playing the same chord over and over. – There should also have been some babes – and guys, in g-strings doing sexual gymnastics to keep our attention. Oh yeah, strobe lights. – Really, a great classic. Glorious cinematography; perfectly historic settings, articulate and expressive script…oh, the acting! What a cast, and what terrific direction. Thanks Nathaniel Hawthorne!
"… what can it be ?" and she run hide herself under the blankets… !!!
Vincent Price is actually singing in this movie.
You can tell a "B" movie when you don't recognize anyone in the movie.

This is based on The House of the Seven Gables but it isn't quite the same as the book. In the book, Clifford is her brother.
